({alpha},{alpha}) Cross section on {sup 11}B for {alpha}-energies between 1.0 and 5.3 MeV

Cross sections for {theta}{sub lab} = 165{degrees} of He-ion backscattering on {sup 11}B in the 1.0 - 5.3 MeV energy range were measured. Self-supported films 500 Angstrom thick, made from enriched {sup 11}B, were used as targets. New resonances at 3.894, 4.216, and 4.271 MeV were observed and measured. Angular distributions were measured at useful resonance energies of 2.64, 3.71, and 3.894 MeV for ion beam analysis. The cross sections are presented in graphic and tabular forms with 2% uncertainty.
