The Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility's (CEBAF) Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS) is being upgraded for the 12 GeV electron beam. The Silicon Vertex Tracker (SVT) will be part of the Central Tracker for the CLAS12 experiment and will be centered inside of the solenoid, which has 5 T magnetic field. We present the design, fabrication, characterization and performance of the SVT modules.
