It is well-known that many perfusion tracers underestimate cerebral blood flow in high flow range. Two models have been proposed to explain non-linear relationship of flow and uptake of the tracers: one takes account for permiability-surface area product (PS model), and the other back diffusion (Lassen`s model). To validate which model is feasible for I-123 IMP, Tc-99m HMPAO, and Tc-99m ECd, ratios of cerebral regions to cerebellum on each SPECT (C/Cr) were compared with those of rCBF (F/Fr) measured by PET using O-15 CO{sub 2} steady state method.
