Examination of atmospheric diffusion calculating schemes under experimental data

The application of atmospheric diffusion models for calculating air pollution is related to the data received. Evaluation of the results by field and regular measurements gives different values if the averaging period grows. Diffusion models are used in studies of background monitoring data analysis and evaluation of environmental pollution from local sources. The basic model formula contains analytical equations in the Gaussian approach with dispersion parameters by Brigg`s approximation. The calculating scheme and program were modified according to experiment conditions. The wind-tunnel experimental measurements of diffusion were used for study in the case of floor roughness surface. The comparison shows a good correlation of results.
