The measurement techniques developed and applied through the JAERI/USDOE Collaborative Program on Fusion Blanket Neutronics were described and assessed. These techniques include tritium production rate, neutron spectrum, reaction rate and gamma-ray heating rate. As for tritium production rate measurements of the most important techniques, six techniques were developed or applied and compared with each other. They are two on-line methods, three passive methods with liquid scintillation techniques and one method with LiF-TLD. For neutron spectrum, the NE213 and proton gas proportional spectrometers were developed and modified. The best set of activation reactions were selected and used for reaction rate measurement. For the gamma-ray heating, the TLD interpolation method and spectrum weighting function method with NE213 detector were used.
