Pulverized Coal CO2 Capture Retrofit Database

This tool provides high-level analysis on the incremental costs for retrofitting pulverized coal plants with carbon dioxide capture and/or compression systems. Options are available to include costs of other technological improvements that would be required to comply with various environmental regulations when installing carbon capture technology. This model is based on the NETL report "Eliminating the Derate of Carbon Capture Retrofits." (2023).
