These are the proceedings from the 1995 Distribution Automation/Demand Side Management conference held in San Jose, CA in January of that year. Sixty-six papers were presented by utilities and consultants from across the world, covering the full range of recent developments concerning the distribution of electric power. The developments include technical features (such as SCADA systems) that insure reliable delivery of electric power, and management features (such as information management systems and load management systems) to insure delivery of an adequate amount of electric power.
