Evaluating commercial and industrial DSM programs

Boston Edison Company (BECo or the Company) is an investor-owned electric utility serving 650,000 customers in the greater Boston area, approximately 80,000 of which are commercial and industrial customers. The Company began implementing commercial and industrial DSM programs as early as 1986. Formal evaluation of these programs did not occur until 1991. This paper will focus upon the 1991/1992 evaluations of the eight commercial and industrial programs offered by the Company.
