A New Measurement of the $$\Xi^0_c$$ Lifetime

Using data collected by the Fermilab experiment FOCUS, we measure the lifetime of the charmed baryon Ξ c o using the decay channels Ξ c o → Ξ - π + and Ξ c o →Ω - K + . From a combined sample of 110±17 events we find τ ( Ξ c o )=118 +14 -12 ±5 fs, where the first and second errors are statistical and systematic, respectively.
