Search for scalar bottom quark pair production with the ATLAS detector in Collisions at TeV
- OSTI
CERN-LHC. Search for pair production of the scalar partners of bottom quarks in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV with a data set of integrated total luminosity of 2.05 fb-1. Events with large missing transverse momentum and two jets in the final state, where both jets have a b-quark signature, are studied. The data is interpreted in the context of an R-parity conserving MSSM scenario. assuming that the scalar bottom decays exclusively into a bottom quark and a neutralino. 95% CL upper limits are presented in the sbottom-neutralino mass plane both with the renormalization and factorization scale = mu, and also varying it by factors of 2 up and down (ie mu/2 and 2*mu). These are compared with the expected limits.
