Synthetic Studies of 2,6–Diamino–3,5–Dinitropyrazine– 1–Oxide (LLM–105) from Discovery to Multi–Kilogram Scale

A description of the various approaches to the synthesis of the insensitive energetic compound, 2,6-diamino-3,5-dinitropyrazine-1-oxide (LLM-105), developed at LLNL throughout the past 20 years will be described.
