Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) Infographic

The EGS infographic provides an overview of this burgeoning technology that could access an enormous, domestic, clean energy resource predicted at more than 100 GW in the United States alone, according to an MIT study. To take advantage of this vast resource, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) promotes and invests in industry, academia, and the national laboratories to develop and demonstrate EGS throughout the United States.
