Methods of calculating the stress-strain (SSS) of shells of revolution under localized force and thermal effects are reflected. In the literature, however, there are virtually no studies where composite shells, and also shells of revolution that are open along the circumference are investigated. In our study, we investigate the stress state of a circular shell that is open along the circumference under a localized temperature field. We also examine a composite shell of complex meridional section, which is subject to concentrated loading, where a comparison is made between computed and experimental data.
