This presentation highlights the findings from two renewable energy case studies conducted by the Joint Institute for Strategic Energy Analysis (JISEA) for the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the Colorado Energy Office in 2021. The case studies; one exploring renewable energy integration for greenhouses and one evaluating biogas production potential for a dairy, illustrate the wide variety of renewable energy opportunities and the significant potential benefits of renewable energy in the agriculture sector in Colorado.
