Tennessee, USA is home to an exceptionally diverse collection of herpetofauna. The geographic distribution of herpetofauna in the state has been well documented (Redmond and Scott 1996; Scott and Redmond 2008), but many distribution gaps still exist, particularly in rural counties. Here, the following 28 records make strides toward filling in these distributional gaps, especially in rural counties surrounding Knoxville, Tennessee. All records were collected from 13 counties in Tennessee and vouchered with the Austin Peay State University Snyder Museum of Zoology (APSU) or the Eastern Kentucky University Photographic Voucher Collection (EKU).
