Critical behavior of heat capacity C{sub v} in the asymptotic neighborhood of the critical point is well described by power laws of the scaling theory with the universal critical exponents and the universal scaling function. However, the region of the applicability of these asymptotic laws is restricted to the vicinity of the critical point (t{le}10{sup -2}, where t = (T-T{sub c})/T{sub c}). For comparison with the real experiment, it is essential to introduce nonasymptotic corrections to the power laws, which are generally referred to as the Wagner`s corrections.
