In this report, we present recent development in semi-classical description of static properties of nuclei. By employing the Wigner transform, we derive simple semiclassical approximations for evaluating properties of nuclear system. We present results of calculations of static properties, using the energy density functional associated with Skyrme effective nucleon–nucleon interaction. In particular, we consider properties of the Wigner distribution function, line of beta stability, Coulomb and symmetry energies, deformation energies, equation of state, nuclear radii, and single-particle level density.
