FeRh2Cu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two FeRh2Cu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Fe is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Rh atoms. Both Fe–Rh bond lengths are 2.24 Å. Rh is bonded in a linear geometry to one Fe and one Cu atom. The Rh–Cu bond length is 2.42 Å. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Rh atoms.
