Materials Data on Y2ZnOs by Materials Project
Y2OsZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2OsZn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Os and one Zn atom. The Y–Os bond length is 2.39 Å. The Y–Zn bond length is 3.29 Å. Os is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
