Materials Data on ScCuAu2 by Materials Project
ScAu2Cu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScAu2Cu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Sc–Au bond lengths are 2.53 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Cu atom. The Au–Cu bond length is 2.47 Å. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms.
