Materials Data on Al2OsPt by Materials Project
OsPtAl2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two OsPtAl2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Os is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Al atoms. Both Os–Al bond lengths are 2.45 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Al atoms. Both Pt–Al bond lengths are 2.35 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to one Os and one Pt atom.
