Materials Data on La2AgHg by Materials Project
La2AgHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2AgHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Hg atom. The La–Ag bond length is 3.08 Å. The La–Hg bond length is 3.07 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
