CaRh2Pb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CaRh2Pb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Rh atoms. Both Ca–Rh bond lengths are 2.49 Å. Rh is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Ca and one Pb atom. The Rh–Pb bond length is 2.54 Å. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Rh atoms.
