Materials Data on Y2CuPt by Materials Project
Y2PtCu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2PtCu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Cu atom. The Y–Pt bond length is 2.49 Å. The Y–Cu bond length is 2.74 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
