Materials Data on Mn2BeCr by Materials Project
BeCrMn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeCrMn2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mn atoms. Both Be–Mn bond lengths are 2.31 Å. Cr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mn atoms. Both Cr–Mn bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Cr atom.
