Materials Data on TaInOs2 by Materials Project
TaOs2In crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two TaOs2In ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ta3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os2- atoms. Both Ta–Os bond lengths are 2.20 Å. Os2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ta3+ and one In1+ atom. The Os–In bond length is 2.66 Å. In1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Os2- atoms.
