Li2AgAs crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Li2AgAs ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag1+ and one As3- atom. The Li–Ag bond length is 2.56 Å. The Li–As bond length is 2.51 Å. Ag1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li1+ atoms. As3- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li1+ atoms.
