Materials Data on MnCdPd2 by Materials Project
MnPd2Cd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MnPd2Cd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Mn–Pd bond lengths are 2.39 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mn and one Cd atom. The Pd–Cd bond length is 2.66 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
