Materials Data on Y2PtAu by Materials Project
Y2PtAu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2PtAu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Au atom. The Y–Pt bond length is 2.54 Å. The Y–Au bond length is 2.82 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
