Materials Data on CsRbAu2 by Materials Project
CsRbAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CsRbAu2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Cs1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au1- atoms. Both Cs–Au bond lengths are 3.34 Å. Rb1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au1- atoms. Both Rb–Au bond lengths are 3.23 Å. Au1- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cs1+ and one Rb1+ atom.
