Hypertriton calculations with meson-theoretical hyperon-nucleon interactions

Faddeev equations for the coupled {Lambda}{ital NN} and {Sigma}{ital NN} systems are solved precisely for meson-theoretical nucleon-nucleon and hyperon-nucleon interactions. For the Nijmegen soft core {ital Y} {ital N} potential, we obtain the hypertriton binding energy close to the experimental value. We also find that the three-body force effects caused by {Lambda}-{Sigma} conversion are significant and attractive. {copyright} {ital 1995} {ital American} {ital Institute} {ital of} {ital Physics}.
