  1. ed.; Princeton University (United States)

On May 4 and 5, 1992, a symposium was held in Princeton, New Jersey in honor of Professor Thomas H. Stix, who has stepped aside as Director of the Program in Plasma Physics at Princeton University. Part of the scientific program of the symposium included invited lectures. This book is a compendium of articles based on most of the lectures. The topics discussed included nonneutral plasma, laser-plasma interactions; Rayleigh-Taylor instability, steady state Tokamaks, ion-cyclotron range frequency heating, Rankine-Hugoniot relations, and drift plasma dispersion function, etc. All of the eleven articles are abstracted for the Energy Science and Technology database.
