Materials Data on Ca2MgHg by Materials Project
Ca2MgHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2MgHg ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Hg atom. The Ca–Mg bond length is 3.62 Å. The Ca–Hg bond length is 3.37 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
