Materials Data on KNaHg2 by Materials Project
KNaHg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two KNaHg2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. K is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both K–Hg bond lengths are 3.54 Å. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Na–Hg bond lengths are 3.20 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one K and one Na atom.
