Nb2CrTc crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Nb2CrTc ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Nb is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cr and one Tc atom. The Nb–Cr bond length is 2.64 Å. The Nb–Tc bond length is 2.25 Å. Cr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Nb atoms. Tc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Nb atoms.
