Materials Data on Ca2ZnCd by Materials Project
Ca2CdZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2CdZn ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Zn atom. The Ca–Cd bond length is 3.44 Å. The Ca–Zn bond length is 3.35 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
