Materials Data on IrSe by Materials Project
IrSe is Wurtzite structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ir is bonded to four equivalent Se atoms to form corner-sharing IrSe4 tetrahedra. There are three shorter (2.40 Å) and one longer (2.45 Å) Ir–Se bond lengths. Se is bonded to four equivalent Ir atoms to form corner-sharing SeIr4 tetrahedra.
