Title: Materials Data on MoH8(NO2)2 by Materials Project

(NH4)2MoO4 is Iron carbide-derived structured and crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four ammonium molecules and four MoNH4O4 clusters. In each MoNH4O4 cluster, Mo6+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.79–1.81 Å. N3- is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four H1+ atoms. There are a spread of N–H bond distances ranging from 1.03–1.06 Å. There are four inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N3- atom. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N3- and one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 1.70 Å. In the third H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N3- atom. In the fourth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N3- atom. There are four inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Mo6+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Mo6+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to one Mo6+ and one H1+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Mo6+ atom.
