This conference proceedings contains papers dealing with the recovery of oil and gas by various well stimulation techniques. Most papers deal largely with hydraulic fracturing of natural gas wells, papers also deal with methane recovery from coal seams, rheology of fracturing fluids, microemulsion flooding, and recovery techniques in horizontal wells. Some papers also address issues of fracture mapping and stress evaluations pertaining to hydraulic fracturing processes. Other papers address flow and geologic models to help assess production and porosity and permeability of various reservoir systems.
