Materials Data on LiCa2Pt by Materials Project

LiCa2Pt crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiCa2Pt ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Both Li–Ca bond lengths are 3.38 Å. Ca is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Li and one Pt atom. The Ca–Pt bond length is 2.55 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
