Pd2NiCu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Pd2NiCu ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ni and one Cu atom. The Pd–Ni bond length is 2.28 Å. The Pd–Cu bond length is 2.43 Å. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
