Materials Data on Zn2NiPt by Materials Project
PtNiZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two PtNiZn2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Pt–Zn bond lengths are 2.34 Å. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Ni–Zn bond lengths are 2.28 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Ni atom.
