AgH is Wurtzite structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ag1+ is bonded to four equivalent H1- atoms to form corner-sharing AgH4 tetrahedra. There is three shorter (1.96 Å) and one longer (1.97 Å) Ag–H bond length. H1- is bonded to four equivalent Ag1+ atoms to form corner-sharing HAg4 tetrahedra.
