Materials Data on Zn2PtAu by Materials Project
PtAuZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two PtAuZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Pt–Zn bond lengths are 2.38 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Au–Zn bond lengths are 2.47 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Au atom.
