Materials Data on YScPt2 by Materials Project
YScPt2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two YScPt2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Y–Pt bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Sc–Pt bond lengths are 2.44 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to one Y and one Sc atom.
