KARMEN, the Karlsruhe-Rutherford Medium Energy Neutrino Experiment at the pulsed spallation neutron facility ISIS investigates neutrino-nuclear interactions in a high resolution 56 t liquid scintillator calorimeter, observing charged current (CC): {sup 12}C({nu}{sub {ital e}},{ital e}{sup {minus}}){sup 12}N and neutral current (NC): {sup 12}C({nu},{nu}{prime}){sup 12}C* interactions simultaneously with spectroscopic quality. The energy dependence of the charged current reaction is used to deduce the q{sup 2}-dependence of the axial vector form factor, the first direct measurement of a weak form factor as yet. {copyright} {ital 1995} {ital American} {ital Institute} {ital of} {ital Physics}.
