Materials Data on Zn2IrAu by Materials Project
IrAuZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two IrAuZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Ir–Zn bond lengths are 2.43 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Au–Zn bond lengths are 2.49 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Au atom.
