Effects of triton-cluster exchange in {sup 3}He inelastic scattering on {sup 6}Li nuclei
- National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan (Russian Federation); and others
In the angular range 10{degrees} - 170{degrees} (laboratory system), differential cross sections for {sup 3}He inelastic scattering on {sup 6}Li nuclei with excitation of the 3{sup +} (E{sub x} = 2.185 MeV) state are measured at energies of 50, 60, and 72 MeV. At large angles, an anomalous increase in the cross section is observed. This effect cannot be explained in the framework of purely inelastic scattering. It is shown that the incorporation of the triton-exchange mechanisms in analysis by the DWBA method (using an optical-model potential found anew from elastic scattering) makes it possible to describe the entire body of experimental data in both the elastic and inelastic channels. The values of triton spectroscopic factors for the ground and excited states of the {sup 6}Li nucleus are determined (S{sub 1}=0.5 and S{sub 2}=1.14). 25 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab.
