Maximizing Distributed Energy Resource Value for All Stakeholders
- National Renewable Energy Lab. (NREL), Golden, CO (United States)
To fully understand the potential value of distributed energy resources (DER) in supporting a power system transformation, it requires engagement with diverse stakeholders. In May 2019, NREL brought together people across the DER community to collaborate and identify questions, needs, and an action plan to integrate DER and maximize their value for the entire energy community. This paper reflects the process and dialogue that took place and can be used as a framework for maximizing DER value for all stakeholders.
