A Study of Dielectric Breakdown through Argon in a Uniform Electric Field.

Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/1661677· OSTI ID:1661677

This paper details a study of the dielectric breakdown of liquid argon between twoplates in a nearly uniform field. In this geometry, effects of stressed volume independent of areacan be probed. Additionally, liquid argon purity effects are considered.
